About the organization

The Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl is the most efficiently operating non-profit business organization organization in the region. It brings together dozens of member companies from both small and medium-sized enterprises. It represents and protects the economic interests of associated entities in their manufacturing, trading, construction and service, in particular local government bodies, trade unions, public authorities and other employers' organizations. The Regional Chamber of Commerce helps to create the conditions for the development of the economy and supports economic initiatives by members. It also conducts training activities. It supports local businesses with a successful “coupon program”, which supplies companies, offices and schools vouchers for their employees. In respect of the activities for the environment it leads information services, consultancy and training (entry in the register of training institutions 2.18/00013/2008 by Regional Employment Office in Rzeszów). One of the main tasks of the Chamber is to promote to the region and its members. The Chamber organizes business and integration meetings, economic missions, and contests for entrepreneurs. It also initiates the action, which raises EU funds and helps businesses to receive them. Financing of activities is carried out by member contributions, grants from the EU and its commercial activities. Profits from ordinary activities are spent on the implementation of statutory activities. The Board has been a public benefit organization since 2005 and is entitled to receive 1% tax rebate from individuals for purposes related to the development of entrepreneurship.
