About the "Yuri Drohobych" Association
The non-profit social organization, the «Yuri Drohobych» Association, was founded by entrepreneurs in Drohobych in 2000. The main objective of the association is to promote the social development of the city and the region of Drohobych. The Association has participated in a number of diverse social projects, culturological and historical, and is the initiator of many small businesses such as publishing books about the town, CDs of religious music, New Year's holidays for children, music competitions, etc.
The "Yuri Drohobych" Association has a good partner in projects for the development of small and medium business in the border areas – The Chamber of Commerce (Regional Chamber of Commerce) in Przemyśl, Poland, which fruitfully performs the second cross-border project.
Among the members of the association are many local businesses. For our team includes deputy Drohobych City Council, Roman Mul, and the deputy of the Supreme Council of Ukraine, Roman Iłyk. At the head of the association is an entrepreneur, the director of the "Farmako" chain of pharmacies, Myron Szewciw.
