1. Successes
Projects implemented by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl:

 

  1. „Increasing spatial activities Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl” under the SSG grants to Organizations Promoting Business, from the Phare 2000 program (15.06.2004-31.08.2004). The main objective of the project was to strengthen the institutional regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl by the creation of three field centers in the municipalities of Przemyśl County, the introduction of a new range of services and ways to promote entrepreneurship, enhance the quality and extend the range of services provided by the Regional Chamber of Commerce, and and prepare the organization for future certification of the National System of Services for training activities and advisory services. The project trained 15 people. Grant amount: 25,597.55 Eur.

     

  2. „Cross-border Economic Forum” in the framework of the National Program for the Polish Phare 2002 Small Projects Fund. Foreign Partner: Association of Employers in Brody in Ukraine (01.12.2004 - 31.08.2005). The aim of the project was to create a permanent platform for business cooperation and business organizations of the Polish and Ukrainian border from the area covered by the range of the Carpathian Euroregion. Thanks to the efforts of the project economic contacts between Polish and Ukrainian companies have increased and been backed by commercial contracts. The implementation of the project was based on close cooperation with a partner from Ukraine – The Regional Organization of Employers in Brody in Ukraine. Grant amount: 46,864.23 Eur.

     

  3. The project is financed by the Stefan Batory Foundation under the title: „Raising the standards of operation of The Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl” (01.12.2005-31.05-2006). Through a grant from the Stefan Batory Foundation, The Regional Chamber of Commerce renovated the headquarters of the Chamber. Institutional strengthening the organization allowed for a higher quality of service and improvement to the image of the House. The grant also purchased office equipment enabling complex projects under the statutory goals of the Regional Chamber of Commerce. Grant amount: PLN 20,104.62.

     

  4. „Transgraniczne Centrum Inicjatyw Gospodarczych w Przemyślu” - Neighborhood Program INTERREG IIIA / TACIS CBC Poland / Belarus / Ukraine (01.01.2007 -30.09.2007). Foreign partner: "Yuri Drohobych" Society from Drohobych Ukraine. The Center for Economic Initiatives in Przemyśl was created in order to foster economic cooperation between Poland and Ukraine. As part of our initiative was a Polish-Ukrainian information database that contains economic data of companies from Poland and Ukraine cooperating on the project. The project was directed in particular to small and medium-sized enterprises. Grant amount: PLN 94,180.62 ERDF and state budget PLN 12,557.42.

     

  5. „KIGNET - chamber system to support the competitiveness of Polish enterprises” implemented by the National Chamber of Commerce under the SOP-ICE 1.1.2. Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl proceeded to the Subnet "Entrepreneurship" (10.01.2007-30.09.2007 r.). “KIGNET - chamber system to support the competitiveness of Polish enterprises” is a project which creates new high-quality services for small and medium-sized Polish enterprises. Network activity was based on the institutions supporting entrepreneurship - mainly chambers of commerce. Grant amount: PLN 44,380.64.

     

  6. The "Non-agricultural Entrepreneurship" project, which focused on promotion and information for the European Fund for the farmers and their household members, the term: 01.02.2008- 30.09.2008). The aim of the project was to reduce the hidden unemployment in agriculture and show people who wanted to leave agriculture other income-earning opportunities - mainly by running their own business with support from the European Union. The project was directed primarily to agricultural operators and members of their households, who wanted to start or expand their own business in the non-agricultural sector, using the Assistance Funds in 2007-2013. The "Non-agricultural entrepreneurship" was a nationwide campaign of promotion and information. Grant amount of 250 714.12 PLN, own contribution 62 858 PLN together with volunteering.

     

  7. „Raise standards for the management and operation of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyślu” dates: 01.07.2009 - 31.12.2009. The main objective of the project was to increase the possibilities of development of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl through the implementation of the Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001: 2009 certificate and confirmation of the ISO. Thanks to a series of training programs (for Supervisor., QMS, on the Internal Auditor for Quality manager under, workshops perfecting the Internal Auditor) and external consultation, integrally related and thematically fitting with the implementation of QMS, workers have acquired knowledge and powers for maintaining a high level of functioning institutions in the QMS. On 21 and 22 December 2009 was held a certification audit conducted by ZETOM-CERT Sp. zo.o Warsaw, who confirmed that the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl had gained the ISO 9001: 2009. As part of the implemented and certified QMS Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl to June of 2012 testified to the following services: raising external funds, information, advice, training, promotion of the region. Project co-financed by the Operational Program Fund for Civil Initiatives"

     

  8. „Managing projects based on PRINCE2 methodology”, date: 01.03.2011-30.04.2012 r. Project co-financed by the European Social Fund under the operational program human capital, priority VIII Regional national economy, action 8.1 Development of workers and enterprises in the region, the Sub-action 8.1.1 Support the development of professional qualifications and business advice. The aim of the project was to raise the qualifications of 165 adults working and living in the Subcarpathian voivodeship in project management in accordance with PRINCE2. The training was carried out by a training company accredited by APMG. Funding from the European Union is 733 348,13 PLN, including the contribution of own 48 359,00 PLN.

     

  9. „Effective project management in the Subcarpathian voivodeship”, the term: 01.09.2012 - 30.06.2014. Project co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Human Capital Operational Program, Priority VIII Regional human resources, Measure 8.1 Development of staff and enterprises in the region, Sub-measure 8.1.1 Support the development of professional skills and consultancy for businesses. Partner: Center for the Management Solutions SA with its registered office in Warsaw. Project value: PLN 1,374,559.30. Open training project, training a group of 590 participants. The aim of the project was to raise the professional qualifications of 260 people (including 130 women and 130 men) from the Subcarpathian voivodeship in terms of project management, risk and change:
    • 19 training programs in project management methodology PRINCE2 Foundation level, completed certifying exam,
    • 7 training programs in project management methodology PRINCE2 Practitioner level, completed certifying exam,
    • 6 training programs in methodology M_o_R risk management, completed certifying exam,
    • 2 training programs in management methodologies to SMEs, completed certifying exam,
    • 2 training P3O model - office portfolios, programs and projects completed certifying exam,
    • 4 training in change management (Change Management), completed certifying exam.

     

  10. „The acquisition of good practices of Swiss business organization by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl” in the Fund Study Tour Swiss - Polish Cooperation Program project entitled "The Alpine - Carpathian Cooperation Bridge" Action 5 Funds grants. Deadline: 30.09.2013-01.04.2013- Amount of grant: 36,830.68 PLN. The aim of the project was the transfer of knowledge and exchange of experience in the field of methods, tools and conditions for the implementation of institutional solutions to the Swiss business organization. This will translate to support the development of entrepreneurship in the project area in terms of implementing good practice in Poland. The study visit helped to establish and strengthen international partnerships between business institutions from Poland and Switzerland.

     

  11. „Regional Center of the European Social Fund” under the OP HC. Deadline: 31.12.2014-01.04.2013. The support area of the ESF Regional Center in Przemyśl: City of Przemyśl and the counties of Przemyśl, Przeworsk, Jarosław, and Lubaczów. Priority client group ESF Regional Centers are: NGOs, schools: primary, lower secondary, upper secondary, education including pre-school or the authorities conducting, all entities that are the designers for the ESF with rural communities, rural-urban and urban to 25 thousand. residents. ESF Regional Centers provide to its customers the following services:
    1. Encouraging potential applicants to apply for funds from the ESF. Identifying customer needs from the ESF Regional Center and to provide basic information about the fund.
    2. Information service on the possibility of participation in the project co-funded by the ESF.
    3. Consultation on the possibility of co-financing by the ESF.
    4. Assistance in preparation of project eligible for funding from the ESF and the preparation of the grant application.
    5. Assist in the implementation of the project co-funded by the ESF.
    6. Animating local initiatives, entering into partnerships.

     

  12. Micro-project titled "The development of the tourist sector companies around the border region Poland and Ukraine based on the defense architecture of the First World War" - the duration of the project 01.06.2014- 11/30/2014. Project value: €50,000. The Micro-project is implemented under the umbrella project of the Association of the Carpathian Euroregion Poland entitled "Promotion of the common heritage of the historical and cultural Polish and Ukrainian Przemyśl Fortress" No. IPBU.03.02.00-76-826 / 12-00 and is co-funded by the European Union. Lead Partner: The Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl, Partner: "Yuri Drohobych" Association in Drohobych. The overall objective of the project is the development of the economy and touristic area of the Polish-Ukrainian border. The project aims to increase the capacity utilization of tourism and the economic attractiveness of the Polish-Ukrainian border, developed through collaboration between the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Przemyśl, and "Yuri Drohobych" Association from Drohobych. Cooperation economic institutions through the establishment of project offices on both sides of the borders, will define common fields of development, analysis, integration of institutional potential for economic development. The project is addressed to the Polish and Ukrainian entrepreneurs operating in the tourist industry who have been prepared by the benefit of the workshops and who present their work on the project. This will contribute to their development and thus to the economic revival of the border areas. The project aims to increase the capacity utilization by the tourist industry and the economic attractiveness of the Polish-Ukrainian border led by partners through virtual tours of the forts, fortifications, defensive lines and monuments of the First World War.
